Churro Rapid

During the rainy season the current on Churro creek can get going pretty fast. The hydrology here is honeycombed with limestone caves and teaming with wildlife.

Parrots

In the morning, every morning, just east of the new Cabana a group of parrots gather in the royal palms. They make a wonderful racket. Waking up to their jabbering beats anything I can think of. Oh, except going to sleep to the sound of howler monkeys.
